Norris & Company Welcomes New Agent Dan Downey, III

Norris & Company Real Estate is pleased to announce the addition of Dan Downey, III as their newest agent.

Dan brings more than fifteen years of domestic and international sales, marketing, and management experience in the building material, commercial property management, and real estate arenas. As an active real estate associate for the past ten years in Indian River County, Dan has developed extensive knowledge of both local residential and commercial markets and his familiarity with the building industry is an added benefit for any buyer or seller.

Dan is a fourth generation Vero Beach resident and native. He resides in Central Beach with wife, Michele, and two young boys. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the City of Vero Beach Tree and Beautification Commission and volunteers for the Riverside Children’s Theatre and Environmental Learning Center.

Inventory in Indian River County Dropping

Are we still in a Buyers Market or are we seeing a Sellers Market developing? As you know, it's all about supply and demand. As of February, listing inventory countywide sits at approximately 5 months, down to 1/2 of the inventory of February 2012 and down to 1/3 of February 2011. (Click on chart below to enlarge).

The Chart below depicts the amount of inventory associated with a Sellers/Buyer Market. Based on the numbers above, it appears tide has started to turn!
