Jane joined Norris & Company Real Estate® as an Associate in 1976.  After having earned her Broker’s license in the early 80’s, she and two other Norris & Company Brokers purchased the company in 1989.  Jane serves as the Vice President and Secretary Treasurer, as well as being a full-time Salesperson.  Based on volume of sales, Jane is consistently a Top Producer for the company.

Jane is a Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and a Certified Residential Broker (CRB) and she maintains an active interest in the community with membership in the Junior League of Indian River County; and the American Cancer Society; on the Community Board of Seacoast National Bank; has involvement in the REALTORS® Association of Indian River County, having served on several of its committees.

Jane has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1972 and is a native Floridian having grown up in Lakeland.  She is married to Jim Schwiering, a principal in Orchid Island Insurance Group and Vero Insurance.  They have two grown children, Jonathan and Jordan, with are both alumni of St. Edward’s School.
